Gunakan bekas telur!
i saw somewhere... dalam blog mana entahlah longgg time ago on subject: cheaper way to germinate seeds....
Actually, we may buy special tray to germinate seeds.... but it cost you around $8 rasanya....but tahan lama la as it is made from plastic... but this is an economic & easy way..... gunakan bekas telur... i tried & memang agak senang.. & of coursela murah! scroll down:

this time... i try to germinate salad..... & entahla apa lagi... masa semai tu memang ingat.. but bila semua dah bercambah... habis semuanya ku lupa! yg macam rumput halus tu salad & yg bawah tu tembikai kot... entahla

This is sawi! memang seronok sakan bila tengok semua bercambah... memang bagusla brand biji benih ni... so, bolehla beli lagi!

at first... i already line-up/ spot the holes for saqwi ni... 5 X 6.. but entah macam mana la buleh jadi kucar kacir.... lantakla... janji dia hidup.....
